I just finished building my computer and I had a little thermal paste issue. I was wondering how I could check the computers temperature to make sure it is running fine. What do I use to do this and what is a good running temperature?

Thanks!

Coretemp for the CPU and MSI afterburner/Asus GPU tweak for the GPU.

CPU's and GPU's are made to run to about 100C before shutting down to save the component, under load a ideal temp would be around 50-80C and idle anywhere from 0-40/50C

It's good, you see where it says core 0,1,2,3,they are your cores. (quad core processor). The temperature readings are the first number after, then the minimum temperature it reached (most likely on boot) and the max temp it has reached, above the wattage is the tj max meaning when it hits 98C it will shut off to save its self from overheating, the rest of the numbers are just CPU specs.

Your temps are good, 46 is a good idle temp, anything until 98C is fine although you dont want it to get that hot , ideally the hottest you want your CPU getting EVER is high 80s low 90s but judging from them temps I would think you only reach around 60-70C under heavy load.

You are fine :D
