I did my own build, this is my second build, first build I used for 7 years, given away to relatives:
MB - Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0
CPU - FX - 8320 no overclocking
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO push/pull config
used pea size method thermal paste from evo 212 kit (chatted with Manager from Microcenter and a few others about quality of paste if no overclock)
GPU - PowerColor R9 280x TurboDuo 3GB
Ram - G.Skill 8GB @1600 (2x 4Gb sticks)
SSD - Plextor M5s PX-128M5S 128GB SATA III 6.0Gb/s 2.5" Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) with Marvell 88SS9174 Controller
500GB HD used as data drive
Samsung Syncmaster P2350 Monitor Tried 3 dif drivers for monitor
Screen Resolution - 1920 x 1080 Landscape. Have tried dif

Zalman MS800 Gaming Performance ATX Mid Tower Computer Case (2 120mm case fans exhaust { 1 top and 1 rear}, 1 92mm inside. 2 120mm evo 212 in push/pull GPU temp never over 66c, cpu never over 55c so far.
Inland Bronze 80+ ILG-750E 750 Watt ATX
Win 7 Prem up to date
ATI driver 13.9 up to 14.4 beta I have tried.
Currently 14.4 beta
PC Bios updated to 2301 from 2005.

Built for BF4 and Next Car Game only.
When I try to launch a BF4 the monitor goes black but still is on (takes sometimes right away other times 10 mins or so before monitor goes black).
The pc tower is still running and fans are normal, sometimes I do hear fans speed up, I think they are the GPU fans.
Hold power only way out, no 3 fingered salute
Warthunder game also screen black, LOTRO I can play though, hhm weird.
Next Car Game freezes when loading after launch.
I can hook up my projector 50inch TV with sound, no issues picture looks great using hdmi from card.

Sometimes screen is white or blue and monitor stays on, hold power only way out, but not often mostly its the black screen symptom.

I tried the other 16x pcie slot, tried dif set for GPU power from the PSU.
Tried using Asus GPU tweak lowering voltage/Core Clock and bringin fans manually to 61% when I did that I got 6 hours of gaming in for a day, next day it was over.

I have not seen GPU temp over 66c - CPU not over 55C using speedfan and hardware monitor program.
Was using asus programs but some issues came up and uninstalled em for now.
Ran Burnintest passed multiple times.
Ran four 2GB Memtest for 20mins 25% coverage, no errors (i Know it should be 6-8 hours Ill have new mem soon anyway)

Multiple reformats.
I can surf, watch vids ask (lol) for help online all day with no errors.
NO OTHER Issues.
Very clean pc.

I RMAed the first R9 280x card, got the 2nd but same issues, its not the card.
I have 2 HD 7950 vid cards coming tomorrow plus some dif memory im gonna try.
Tried many dif setting in bios and bios is up to date from 2005 version to 2301 with asus on phone.

Im told from 4 dif companys its:
PSU..either defective or not enough to power system.
Motherboard may be defective
Memory maybe?
SSD Drive?
Ill know more after trying dif vid card and memory, if that dont work, im taking psu back and getting:
http://www.microcenter.com/product/385615/Maximum_Power_850_Watt_ATX_Power_Supply

After that I return the board to Asus...
Sigh...

Enough text for now...
Will update after vid card and memory trying.

I dont have another monitor, I forgot all about that side of the puzzle, looks like I gotta get another monitor now just to troubleshoot, it will have to wait for $$.
Also I have tried the default pnp windows monitor drivers, the one that came with the monitor from cd, and one from their site.
Samsung Syncmaster P2350. Tried DVI and RGB connections, currently DVI.

Put 1 AMD HD 7950 and was able to play for over an hour.
I think the issue is the PSU.
Grabbing enough PSU to power 2 AMD HD 7950 since I have 2 of em, plus the R9 280x on its own depending on what has better results..
