I'm going to build a computer and use a intel cpu, but I'll have enough money for it in a couple months so should I wait for the i5 or i7 broadwell cpu or just get a haswell cpu?
Broadwell won't be coming out until the end of this year/early next year. Intel is focusing most of their efforts into reducing power consumption and improving their integrated graphics, so the CPU performance improvement is likely not to be huge.
If you'll have the funds in a couple of months, then just grab one of the Haswell refresh processors that will be out by then, it's probably not worth waiting an extra 6 months or so for Broadwell.
Z97 mobo due around the 10-11th of this month as well as the Haswell basic CPU refresh models, the K models (4690K - 4790K) will prob be late May-early June, should have better OCing and heat management along with a minor rise of the base clock

Yep, Newegg already is now showing them, as available May 10, so that should be the release date for the Haswell Refresh CPUs (non-K models, K models prob, end of May, 1st of June (have heard June 4, but not yet confirmed)

Not bad..........When the Z97 comes along I'll grab one. Easy upgrade path too, z97 now, broadwell later....If broadwell is worth it.
Hopefully there will be a better motherboard selection for mini-ITX by the time I am ready to do my mini-itx build. The current selection doesn't have M-SATA and there really isn't a decent selection of M.2 SSD's out there.
Depending on what CPU you currently you might want to wait for Skyrim... I mean Skylake.
Between the Haswell and Broadwell, I would simply get Haswell unless your current CPU is providing adequate performance and you are willing to wait for more info about Broadwell's performance. I have not kept up to date regarding Broadwell, so I am guessing maybe another 5% increase in overall performance.
are they making a budget broadwell ? like i3 or something ?
They have already showcased "Asus t300 chi" tablet which has broadwell, and it's the reason why it's so thin. It's not set to release as far as I know, but this confirms that there should be all kinds of broadwell CPU options.
