Hello, I just got a new monitor in, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009422, and i'm having trouble linking it up with my other two monitors. I am using an Asus R9 270 2Gb Graphics card, which has 2 Dvi ports, one Hdmi, and one Displayport. My other monitor has one Dvi port and one Vga port, and my small T.V/Monitor has one Vga port and one Hdmi. Before the third monitor, hooking up one to dvi and one to Hdmi worked just fine, but now the third display won't come whilst 2 Dvi and 1 Hdmi are Hooked up. I've read that it is impossible to hook up 3 monitors in a DVI/DVI/Hdmi fashion, and have seen that if i buy and adapter to turn one of the Dvi's in to displayport , then they will work. If i buy an adapter, will the DVI/Displayport/Hdmi setup work? Or what is the best way to link up all three? Thanks.

Check your graphic card specs, but I suspect, for an Eyefinity display (three monitors), you are required to utilize the displayport output of your graphics card. Since all three of your monitors will accept a digital (HDMI/DVI) input, purchasing a displayport to HDMI/DVI (whichever is available on the third monitor) should not be that difficult.

So getting the adapter will work right. Also, i though Eyefinity was when you have all three monitors linked together, and in like a video game for instance, the image is spread across all three screens, if so, that is not what i'm looking to do. Just looking for an extra monitor so i can have lets say a game on one, a video on another, and a web page or something on the third.
