Yes sir! A quality one anyway. I like XFX, Seasonic, Antec, Rosewill, and Corsair. My build (i7 870+GTX770) doesn't come near my 550w Rosewill.

Most likely. Some Corsair units have recently been built with lower quality components than in the past, but it is rare for that to have a noticeable effect. The newer CWT units (Like that one) seem good though.
