the r9-280x is a better card then the 760...

the 760 is roughly equal to the r9-280... the r9-280x is about 15% faster.

Along with Assassin's Creed IV, Watch Dogs is the centerpiece of Ubisoft's partnership with Nvidia. Watch Dogs is a showcase for exclusive Nvidia features like TXAA and HBAO+ and will most definitely perform better on Nvidia hardware. Not sure if its available in your country, but Watch Dogs also comes free with the purchase of an Nvidia card. If that's your game, the GTX 760 is going to be the one to get.

The 280x will give better performance, it is equal to the GTX770.

At your resolution you might want to consider a 270x. It will max most games at the setting. Depends on how much you want to spend.
The R9 280 is slightly faster than the 760, fits between the 760 and 770,

At that resolution, there's no reason to spend so much more for the 280X. Overall, the 280X is about 10% faster, but it's unlikely that it will be worth it on Watch Dogs and you'll miss out on some of the full graphics settings..

at that resolution you can save yourself a lot of money and get a r7-260x, or a gtx 750... and enjoy everything on super ultra awesome.

Frankly at that resolution both of those cards are overkill... hell at that resolution an a10 will be enough for you. What bottlenecks you at that resolution will be your cpu. Because nothing at that resolution will challange any gaming level gpu.

r9-280x of course, which is comparable with gtx 770 not 760... if you can buy them for the same price, r9-280x is what you want, and by the way 3gb of vram shines on r9-280x, buy this card unless you want to buy gtx 770 with 4 gb of vram, I haven't seen any 3gb version...

Piku i would suggest you get the NVIDIA gtx 750Ti because its the best graphics card for 1366*768. It costs only 12000rs so you will save lot of money and still be able to play Watch Dogs on max settings.

You are touching on at least one of the points that make the Nvidia option preferred for most, there are just so many options that come with it. Shadowplay, Geforce Experience, Adaptive VSync, PhysX, TXAA, HBAO+, and overall better driver support are all things you would leave behind with an AMD card. Adaptive VSync alone is worth the cost of admission.

If you can afford at least a GTX 760, then don't downgrade to a lesser video card. Contrary to popular opinion, getting the most video card you can afford will come in handy for those more demanding games and help you to avoid buyer's regret.
