Can share internet but can't share files

I have one desktop with win 8, one desktop with win 7 and one laptop with win 7 (all 32 bit). I can easily share internet between the three via Teracom 4 port ADSL router modem but can't share file and printer and also can't share documents or access each other...
please help me out

You need to setup a Homegroup in Windows (on both machines)

set the Homegroup but to no result. even reset the modem too.
