Hey guys, this summer I will be making my first gaming computer.
I want to this computer to last for at least 5 years and let it run League of Legends and Minecraft around 100+fps.
I have 3 Builds I can create right now.
Build 1:
CPU:Intel Core i3-4130 3.4GHz Dual-Core Processor $124.99 @ Newegg
Motherboard:Gigabyte GA-H81.Amp-UP ATX LGA1150 Motherboard $75.36
Memory:Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory $79.99
Storage:Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk $80.99
Storage:Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $54.98
Video Card:MSI Radeon R9 270 2GB TWIN FROZR Video Card $179.99
Case: BitFenix Comrade ATX Mid Tower Case $49.00 @ Amazon
Power Supply: Corsair CSM 550W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply $79.99
Total: $710.29
Build 2: Same as Build 1 but I switched the SSD for a better CPU. The Intel Core i5-4440 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor.
Build 3: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=22230051
Build 2 Seems like the best option since it is a i5 cpu instead of a i3. The thing I don't understand is why is the i5 better if it has a less GHz?
If you guys have any better options please state your opininon!
