Hi,

I have some issues with one screen when two screens are connected. Anyone got any idea of what it can be? Thanks for your time!

Graphics Card
- PowerColor Radeon R9 280x TurboDuo
- No over-clocking has been done

AMD Catalyst Driver Version, and Driver History
- Catalyst 14.3
- Driver 13.301
- Also tried the previous one that I updated from today

Operating System
- Win7 64bit

Issue Details
- When I have two screens connected, one through HDMI (LG Smart TV 50") and one through DVI (DELL U2312HM) I get flickering in the bottom if the Dell screen. More exactly it only is the area that covers the Start Menu. Separately the screens and outputs work fine, it is just when both are jacked in at the same time.
- include specifics on symptoms, and steps to reproduce the issue
- describe in detail the issue experienced
- for 3D Games, please include details of your in-game graphics settings (ex: Anti-Aliasing, VSync, etc..)
- links to videos or pictures that may demonstrate your issue

In case anybody else should come across this, I ran into it on my new MSI R9 280 Gaming.

When duplicating displays with my HDTV connected to HDMI and my 22" monitor via DVI (both 1080p / 60Hz) I would get a bar across the bottom of the monitor only, flickering any time a Windows Aero UI element was "highlighted" by mousing over.

After also noticing my TV had black borders around it I found that Catalyst Control Center was set to nearly 10% underscanning in the Scaling Options. After turning this up to 0%, my black border was eliminated on the TV and the flickering on the monitor went away.

I was having this issue when i connected an hdmi screen along with DVI.
I just love you right now it's the first time i bother answering at such threads but this was 100% what my sore flickering eyes needed.

Best answer by far.

I was trying to find a solution for a long time to no avail.
I went to catalyst/digital flat panels/scaling options and set overscan to 0%. Done!.
