(This is my first thread on Tom's Hardware, please excuse my mistakes,if any)

My hardware is an Intel Core 2 Duo E7300,mated to a china-made motherboard(just bent the LGA pins of a DG31PR and no other mobo was available),Radeon HD 5450,160 GB Samsung HD191HJ,2 GB RAM,Realtek HD Audio codec.Dunno about the number.

So,this is it.I just reinstaled my OS(Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, sound working perfectly)after a system fail, and all my data was secure, but yet, programs were,as I did not create a backup, uninstalled. Now,I had the drivers' CD but the audio driver for Windows 7 did not work, said that "No driver in this package was supported.".So,I tried compatibility mode, which did not work and hence,I installed the Vista version, which delivers rear sound, but no front sound.I also tried removing the front panel audio connector and reconnected it,but it does not work.
I had installed the driver before the system fail on the previous OS,and worked.I don't know how I did it,but I did.

Please help me.Thanks!

Ok.But the sound IS delivered through the back panel, and not through the front panel.I'll install and then reply.
