I have an old windows vista PC, but it's pretty powerful too. It came with a Windows Vista 32bit install DVD. It has 4 gb ram, should I upgrade to 64 bit, or is 32 bit enough for 4 gb ram??
Is it worth to reinstall with 64 bit. When it was new, it had 2 gb ram. I upgraded to 4 gb. So, my question is: should I install 64 bit instead, because the key works for both.

Windows x64 can emulate x32 programs without problems, then why do you think they create x64 programs if x32 ones can be executed? To benefit from x64 CPU registers which can be used to move bigger data to one register rather than to move that data in two parts into a 32 bit register, and that does increase speed, sometimes not that much but it still does increase speed even by %0.1

Windows x32 bit versions can use 3.4 GB of RAM by maximum, so if you have more than 4GB of RAM and want to use all of it then go with 64 bit Vista.
64 bit programs are also faster than 32 bit programs.
