Hello

I currently have 4x4GB 1600mhz CL9 Memory (Kingston Hyper Blue or smth) in my system, it runs on quad channel.
I also have 2x4GB 1330mhz CL9 Dual-Channel Memory from my old system.
I would like to put in the old ram to because I want to run a virtual ubuntu machine from a ram disk.
Will my memory performance suffer?

Rig: i7 4930k, AsRock Extreme6 (8 Dimm slots)

Solution
one of two things....

1) all of your ram will run at 1333mhz to match the 2x4gb sticks

2) overclock the 2x4gb 1333mhz ram to 1600mhz but you might have to go from a CAS9 to a CAS10

ether way you go it will slow down your ram.
