Old hardware (Wacom tablet) and Windows 8?

My dad has a Wacom Digitizer II tablet which has a serial interface. He has a serial port on his new PC but we're missing drivers for the tablet.
What chance do I have getting the tablet working on Win 8?

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that and some other drivers but none of them detected the tablet unfortunately. Well, it is something like 15 years old, sh he's going to buy one of the new ones.
