Hello there members of Tom's hardware. I just upgrade my PC's processor and motherboard 2 days ago and I can't seem to play Titanfall on 1920x1080 resolution and my FPS is not going above 60 it usually stays around 40-50 even on low settings. Any help is appreciated. :)

(Update: I even tried tweaking the graphics settings in NVIDIA Control Panel, still no performance boost.)

PC Specs:
CPU: i5-4460 @ 3.20GHz
GPU: ASUS GTX 650-DC Edition (1GB)
RAM: 8 GB
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Motherboard: ASUS-Z87-K

More about : run titanfall 1920x1080 resolution

The minimum pc specs are http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/titanfalls-minimum-...!GYYpX
so you should play no worries.

What about your cooler, case and psu - list them too please and make and model of ram

Can you run HWInfo and show the min and max readings for the 12v, 5v and 3.3v rails?

Have you overclocked the cpu or gpu? If so, what settings (voltages and frequencies) and temps?

The GPU is not that powerful.

Look at the link - "Titanfall will run on Windows PCs equipped with and AMD X2 2.8GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz, 4GB of RAM, 512MB of video RAM, and a Radeon HD 4770 or GeForce 8800GT graphics card."

So you don't need much

It will run, but not necessarily with overly good fps.

Oops. I accidentally click your post as best solution please don't ignore this post. I didn't overclock my CPU and GPU. And I can't find the name of my case, psu and model ram. I don't even know whats a HWinfo lol sorry.

I would say that your performance is about right for your system. It's your GPU that is holding you back.

How can I increase it?

Nothing is going on with the GPU itself, it's just not a high end GPU. TitanFall may run on the minimum specs, but minimum specs equals minimum enjoyment. The 650 is a nice card, but it's not very powerful. If you want to improve performance look at something like a 660/760. This should bump your framerate up quite a bit.

It's too weak to put it bluntly.

http://www.gamersnexus.net/gg/1352-titanfall-pc-gpu-ben...

If you notice here the 750 averages 49fps.. your 650 just won't be able to play it on anything more than medium (playable) i would also recommend you getting a new GPU.. If you're going to stick with Nvidia, you should look into 760 and above if you want to play games comfortably.

Also, how did you get that CPU.. its release date is May-11th?

What about my FPS? It never reaches to 60 FPS above... Even everything on Low including Texture resolution.

If your running 1080p, that's all you can likely expect. Short of a GPU upgrade, you're stuck at that framerate. That is unless nVidia pulls a bunny out of their magic hat and comes up with some TitanFall specific driver improvements (not likely).

Tested on 1080p - 29 - 40 FPS (A bit of input lag especially during 3 titans battle)
Tested on 720p - 49-55 FPS (Smoother)

Update: V-Sync is off as well.
