No blue screen or beep?

im building my first pc and i think i have it all set up (minus a hard drive in it) and when i turn it on and plug it in to a moniter there is no blue screen and no beep? the fans turn on and some of the front buttons on the case work (fan speed and fan colour) but other than that nothing else is happening... what do i do?

Make sure you plugged in the CPU power connector, sometimes call EPS.

Usually at the top near the CPU (above it).

Ok, I looked at an image of your motherboard. The EPS connector is at the very top of the motherboard on the left hand side. It's just above the heatsink on the VRM's. It's a 8 pin connector and its blue.

that big blue block at the top just to the left of the CPU? ok yea powering the cpu might be a good idea... thanks for the advise!!
