Are These temps ok for OC?

Hi ! i got a Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 280X Vapor-x Tri-x OC 3gb video card .. here are the temps-
Room Temp - 42-46Celcius ( NewDelhi,INDIA) TOO HOT!!
GPU(idle) - 39-44Celcius
GPU(70to80% load)- 60to75Celcius

I want to know that these temps are ok for my gpu ? if yes can i oc it?? and im going to get a new Air Conditioner and run it at 16to18C while gaming will it cause any temp drop??

Yes, those temps are just fine, the GPU can work at 90ºC just fine, so anything below it is completely ok.

Besides, Radeon GPU's tend to run rather hot anyway. Oh, and when my ATI 4650's fan stopped working, the card worked full time at 100ºC! It still works perfectly when I try it on my computer.

And yes, a drop in the room temperature will surely help to cool down the card.

if i should not! then anyway plz tell me about oc'ing with sapphire trixx!

Yes, you can try to OC and try to make 90ºC the maximum temperature, anything over that is not good for the card's life expectancy.

You can download MSI Afterburner and do increments of 5 mhz to core clock and memory clock. To see if the system is stable, get furmark, or some other testing program. If the system manages to pass the test, increase another 5 mhz.

Do this over and over until the system fails on the stress test, when that happens, decrease by 1 mhz, to discover the sweet spot.

When i download MSI Afterburner i got two files. one is afterburner itself and other is KOMBUSTER whats that?

hi.. My Factory Clocks were - 1100core and 1500mem and i tried to oc!
Now, everyhting was fine till 1195 and 1595 BUT no fps increase in anything!! but when i turned it to 1200 and 1600
yes there was +5FPS and sometimes +10 but after 2 mins My System Hangs and shutdown BUT last recorded gpu temp(when pc crashed) was only 68C

i got that from flipkart ..search for vaporx but when it reaches home u get trix version!! i actually bought the 2fan vaporx
