So a while ago I decided to open my laptop and clean it from dust. I had to remove my keyboard and unplug some connections inside to actually open it.
After I had done my job I plugged everything back properly and turned on the laptop. It was on battery and suddenly the laptop died. The battery wasnt even fully discharged.
And now this happens everytime I leave my laptop on battery for a longer time. It can die on 30-50%, when loaded it crashes even when above 50%. The laptop doesnt even try to hibernate - its just like bam and its dead like I would unplugged it without battery.
This was not happening before and now Im not able to know when my laptop will crash. And most of the time I'm not able to turn it back on but when I plug it and it turns on the battery is being at about the same charge when it died.
Also, Windows 7 shows warning that there is a problem with my battery so my computer can shut down suddenly . There was no warning before this.
You may say that my battery is really dead but why these things started happening exactly after opening my laptop?

Yeah this sounds like you haven't reconnected something back properly. I would take your laptop apart again and make sure all cables are connected properly. Most will "click" into place. When a laptop is on mains power it actually bypasses the battery. So I would imagine a loose connection somewhere between the battery and motherboard.
