can any tell me how much wattage psu i need for this system..
amd a4 6400 its wattage is 65watt
xfx r9 280x its wattage is 750 watt
and a 1 tb heard disk 4 gb of 2133 ram............

I wouldn't get that graphics card with that APU. It's a slow, 2-core CPU that will bottleneck the 280x, and you'll see horrible frame drops and lag anytime CPU power is needed in gaming.

And don't EVER use power supply calculators online. Almost all of them give awful information.

That said, a good quality 550w+ unit will do the trick just fine.

Where did you see this? A good 750W PSU can run two of those video cards. I agree with HiTech. Slow CPU paired with a super fast GPU. Asking for problems. If you are gaming you really want the 6300 AT LEAST.
