im trying to build a gaming computer in the range for about 1200 dollars including monitor. I only am really playing starcraft and league of legends i may branch into ESO.. can you guys help me out? i seem to only b getting my price point at like 1600 which is too much

This'll keep you under your low-end of your budget, and will get you fast SSD performance, good RPG performance (Intel), and max out graphics in all the games you listed above, including ESO if you do that.

Can of course get you more performance, but it sounded like you wanted to save some money as well lol Just wanted to show you you don't need to spend NEAR $1,600 for what you're looking for.

that looks pretty solid, but i was more thinking i5 3570, but if 4570 is good also then ill stick with that, but i did want to throw it up to 16gb ram and is a 500w enough to power this? and ill probably bring the ssd up to 240

Why did you select that guy as best answer lol

The 3570 is a previous generation, Haswell is newer, and for the same price, slightly better.

Why 16GB of RAM? When gaming, you'll see around 3.5-4.5GB of usage, and 8GB is plenty for photo editing, and even light video editing. But by all means, get 16GB if you want lol

500w is more than plenty to power a non-overclocked CPU and 760. You'll probably have around 300w at max load.

mATX is generally cheaper, yes. And unless you plan on having 7 expansion cards, there's no real reason to get a full size ATX board except for looks I guess. You can't SLI on an H87 board (not that you would with a 500w PSU anyway), which would leave you 5 or 6 expansion slots empty for no reason. But again, it's your money, do whatever you want lol

A little tip try to get better gpu over cpu and motherboard go for 770 or 780
Intel Core i5 4440 is more than enough and a low budget bored check out Asrock they got a decent boards for a very good price and planty of features lile the h87 or pro3
The power supply if you went for the 770 gtx a 650w psu is more than enough and remember to check if the power supply support Haswell i recommend Antec, seasonic or EVGA.
Get a 1600mhz 8 gb of rams 2 sticks i recommend G-skill or Adata as they never failed me and pretty good for gaming
As for monitor I'd say Asus get a 1ms led.

If you open up the PCPartPicker links, you can select Canada from the top right and it will update to amazon sellers.
