Hello,
I have just received an HP Envy m6 k022dx as a gift.
Overall, I really like the computer and it mostly works for just about everything I use it for. I'd just like to make it respond a little faster without making it unstable in the long run.
I've been contemplating three things:
- Is it possible to exchange my current 5400 rpm HD with a solid state drive and would it make any noticeable difference in performance.
-The Processor/Motherboard/Video card is AMD with integrated graphics so no way to install a faster video card BUT would it be possible to install a faster AMD processor?
- Also, would it be worth maxing out my RAM, currently have 6 Gigs, worth maxing out to 18GB?
Any other suggestions for better performance?
Thanks all,
Mark
