I recently put together my PC that isn't working I have to take it apart to return the piece that's not working I don't have any alcohol to clean the thermal paste off the CPU would it be a big problem if I kept the CPU in it's box with the thermal paste on and then clean it in a few days when I have the alcohol? What about the CPU Cooler can I keep that with thermal paste on? It arrived with a sticker on the part to put on the CPU I don't have that any more would that make a difference?

Solution
As long as you clean it before you reinstall everything, it will be ok. Just wipe off what you can, now and properly clean it when you get the alcohol.

It should be fine considering it dries pretty fast and usually the thermal paste that is bundled stock is not electrically conductive. If you have time, see if you have nail polish at home, acetone should be able to strip off the thermal paste.
