Background:
Looking for a machine that I can game with. As of right now I am playing TitanFall on my Samsung laptop, and it is barely keeping up with the game on Low/medium. (All drivers up to date and optimized for game play)

I have a general knowledge of computers but have been putting forth an effort to read up and research other peoples build/reviews/experiences with parts and budgets.

BUDGET= ~$900

Expectations = a reliable, computer that I can game on, edit photos, stream video, and do other minimal tasks (word excel facetwin etc)
I would like everyone's opinion because I want to do it once and do it right. This is the part list I have compiled and as far as I know as parts are compatible and are "recommended" take that term lightly because everyone is entitled to their opinion.

KEEP IN MIND this machine is be in my small bedroom and will be put on a 42" LED tv. I believe the tv has a refresh rate of 60Hz but in the future it will be replaced by a 120Hz monitor. It will also be played through a sound bar via optical cable.

Please feel free to tell me its a good start but needs a lot more work because I have a serious bottle neck with one of the components. Feel free to shed any kind of light on what I can expect or if you think there is a better combination that will yield greater performance or value.

I put brief reasons as to why I chose each component as well.

Case:Corsair Vengeance Series C70 Military Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Honestly I think this case is sweet. Comes with 3 120mm fans, good cable concealment, water ready if I ever choose to go that route which intrigues me.

HD:Western Digital WD VelociRaptor WD5000HHTZ 500GB 10000 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive - OEM
I looked for a budget 10,000 rpm drive. If any one thinks I should go with a 1tb 7200 and a solid state I am up for options here as I am not dead set on this HD.

MOBO:GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Matched CPU socket, cross fire ready this is the one component I do fully have a great grasp on yet.

PSU:RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-630SS 630W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply, New Version with Build-in LED Fan On/Off Switch
Seemed compatable with all other parts, the price worries me being it is inexpensive compared to other PSU's

Memory:G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL
Seems to be everyones go to in terms of the standard of memory for what I plan on doing with it.

CPU:AMD FX-8320 Vishera 3.5GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor FD8320FRHKBOX
8 core and piledriver? sign me up. also seemed like a great value

GPU:MSI R9 270 GAMING 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
Seems like people have heat complaints about this but good performance. The recording software is unneeded in my case.

Like I said this is my first attempt at putting a machine together. Please point out any flaws you see, but give me a reason.

Please do not get me wrong, if I am way off or this build is total junk and I need to do more research I will not be butt hurt if that is what I need to do.

Forgot to add this comes out to ~$875

Thanks

Solution
Get a seasonic PSU - don't skimp on the PSU or it can potentially ruin your PC.

HDD - I recommend a 1tb Western Digital Caviar Blue (around 60$ on amazon), these drives are single platter and quite faster. For a boot disk look for a crucial m500 they are a really good buy right now, or a samsung EVO model. Samsung is a little faster, crucial has a few more features. I went for the M500 240GB because it's such a good buy at less than 50c/GB

Otherwise your system looks pretty solid. I recommend again a minimum 550watt, preferable 650watt seasonic/xfx psu.

Your 270 GPU is a good starter card, if you want better performance try for the 280 or GTX 760/ 770.
DO NOT get the Raidmax PSU!! They are junk and your are right to be worried. Another forum member stated the case well, " A Raidmax PSU should Never be used if there is any possibility that it will be attached and plugged into the computer at the same time it is plugged into the wall power plug."
Here's a typical review from a very trusted review site, for one ot the new Raidmax 500W

Spend a little more on a better PSU.
Here's an excellent PSU, 5 year warranty, made by Seasonic (one of the best), with more then enough power to run your new buildl

You can shop if you like, but get something from Corsair (AX, HX, TX are recommended), Seasonic, XFX, Antec,
I have linked Newegg, but you can do a very good general search using the link below:

Just ask them for recommendations for a $900 gaming build.

There is no difference between running a system on a TV or a monitor except for sitting distance and limiting the FPS to 60 to avoid processing frames that can't be seen.

I just got the XFX TS Series XFX TS 550W and it is really nice.

Just make sure that get a thick HDMI cable and sit as far away from the TV as possible. The cheapest solution is to get a long HDMI cable and have the tower close to you or use wireless mouse and keyboard but I am afraid of the response time.

I have 3 towers set up like that >.<

A6-5400k (12 (3x4) GB system RAM) with a MSI R7 260X 2GD5 OCV1 running on a Corsair CX430 connected to Sanyo 46 in LED tv.

A4-3420 (12 (3x4) GB system RAM) with a PowerColor AXR7 260X 1GB running on the XFX TS 550W connected to a Magnavox 46 in LED tv.

X4 630 (8 GB (4x2) system RAM) with Sapphire HD 7770 1GB running on the stock PSU connected to a Samsung 46 in LCD tv.

@pondering

I am a car guy, I spend a ton of time on car forums. When you ask for someone to do something for you it is almost disrespectful to the community as it has most likely been covered 1000x. This is my 3rd post here so I am still trying to learn the ropes. I did not know if asking for someone to come up with configuration for me was out of line, or acceptable.

If anyone has a better idea for a better performing or equal performance with a greater value please post the components.

Thanks for the responses.
