Which combination would be better mainly for WoW, DayZ and upcomming games ? If I"d buy a cheaper case and 4GB RAM I could afford I5 3350 + 280, I wont be overclocking, location czech republic

More about : 4440 270 6300 280

I'd recommend an i5 with an R9 280, also don't skimp on other parts for the sake of another. 8GB of RAM is the norm for gamers nowadays, with most games needing 4GB as minimum. Safe a while longer to get an overall better rig.

I would say the FX-6300/R9-280 would be the better combination. It's not all that often that games are really CPU limited, they tend to be more GPU limited, so the general rule of thumb is (once you get past a certain CPU threshold of course - don't try pairing an Atom or new AM1 processor with an R9-Anything for example!) is to get more GPU than CPU.

Plus, the FX-6300 -is- an overclockable 6-core processor, so it does have more headroom if you buy a solid aftermarket cooler down the road.

WoW is a CPU-bound game; I don't know about DayZ, although other upcoming games are also better-threaded. Blizzard also prefers Intel. I'd get the i5. A lesser case and 4GB of RAM is a worthwhile sacrifice, especially since RAM is easy to upgrade later. Blizzard also prefers nVidia over AMD, so you might consider a GTX760 instead. It is more powerful than the R9 270X, and uses less power. A Quality 500W-550W PSU will be enough for your build. I'd find one built by Seasonic (their own, XFX, or some Antec) or Superflower (Rosewill Capstone).
