I've done everything to the bios n I checked the order to see if boot is first but it will not give me the choice to change the order.

Try the "one off" boot device menu instead. It doesn't change the boot order, it simply allows you choose a specific boot device for the job in hand.

Turn off the laptop.
Now turn it on and immediately keep F12 key pressed until boot device menu appears.
Highlight with up/down arrow keys the drive you want to boot from.
Press <Enter>
