I tested this on two mics i have found the same results, Stagg MD-500 and a Trust mic. I have checked levels and boost before anyone asks, i have messed around with Skype and steam to see if the settings are low. I have reinstall the mic drivers and updated my motherboard audio drivers. I'm desperate for some assistance.

My mic is way too quiet i have to be about 2cm close to it for it to be able to hear me
