I plan to upgrade my GPU near the end of this year but want a decent shooter. I want to play BF4 but I can't play that until I get a new GPU- might get a GTX 660.
I was wondering if I could play BF3 on at least medium settings smoothly but my GPU has only 512mhz.
Will it run okish?...
Current GPU--- XFX Radeon HD 5750 512mhz

New GPU recommendations are also needed- budget around £150

Thanks people :)

Solution
It will run it for sure. But you will have to make some quality sacrifices to maintain playable FPS. When you get in game, tune each setting and see.
Try overlcoking it as high as it will go without artifacting or causing a driver crash. The HD 5750s have low stock clocks and a bit of headroom leftover. Mine could do 960MHz on the core and 1350MHz on the VRAM.

For new GPU, the R9 270, or GTX 760. They are each about 4-5X more powerful so you will notice the difference right away.
