I have gtx 670 that has performed well for awhile now but I'm looking to get more performance. Should I sell my card and get a new 800 series when they arrive or buy another 670 for sli?

Thanks

More about : upgrade sli 670

Depends on the rest of your system, especially the PSU and the motherboard.

Can we see your system specifications? Only then we can determine if you should.

well...the performance of the gtx 670 is between gtx 760 and 770..so still a good graphic card.
but this card (gtx 670) still some kind expensive and more rare
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_n_0?rh=n%3A172282%2Cn...

but you can improve a lot the performance in gaming with a gtx 780 ti or gtx 780
and later add an other gpu in SLI ...

but it depend your budget and if you want a killer gaming pc?
i do not know which hardwares you have..so its not easy for me to suggest the right way

Also your resolution and the VRAM on your card is important. You will be fine with 2GB cards at 1080p but at 1440p you'll struggle to keep VRAM usage low.

I'm using a singe 1080 monitor.

I have a corsair 650 watt PSU
Asrock p67 extreme
8gb 1600mhz vengeance ram
120gb oc agility 3 sad and a Seagate 500 GB HDD
2500k not overclocked at the moment
Also I use a corsair h80 cooler.

I'm looking to spend no more than 450 on upgrades. I can spend more if I sell the 670.
Thanks guys

Yeah, get a completely new GPU; That PSU can't run two GPUs.

thanks for the specs!
like EDUELLO said you will need a more powerful psu ( 850W ) min
if you can find a gtx 670 at a good price ...take it and put in SLI mode
gtx 670 approx 300$ +
850W psu approx 150$ .....so 450$ to spend
