Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums here although I've been lurking around for quite awhile. This site has helped me a lot with my previous builds so I figured I'd make an account. Anyway I want to show you guys my rig and get some opinions on them. Some parts are pretty old, I reused some of my dad's old parts.

So for my case I have a Rosewell Thor V2
Cpu: i7 4770k
CPU cooler: Corsair H50
Motherboard: MSI z87-g45
PSU: AXP PowerReal 850W
RAM: 16GB Patriot viper extreme
GPU: 2x 560Ti
HDD: 1TB WD Caviar Black & 256GB Samsung SSD

The old parts I'm reusing is the liquid cpu cooler, the psu, ram, and the graphic cards.

I want to upgrade my GPU, maybe my CPU cooler later and maybe my PSU. I'm not sure if it's a good quality PSU and may be overkill for my system. I want to upgrade to a single gtx 770. I play games often on it and on some games for example Injustice, it would get choppy at times and the audio and video wouldn't be in sync.

I'd love to hear everyone's opinions, thanks for reading.

In my opinion an 4770k is kinda overkill with most games. Then when it cost about the same as the 770 I think its silly. IDK.

I would recommend a GTX 780. Mostly a personal experience but also knowledge based one.

Yeah definitely, I knew I was going to get some replies about my i7. I only got it because it was super cheap $240, couldn't pass that up lol. The 780 costs a little too much, I was thinking the 770 because it performs well and is about 2 hundred dollars cheaper. I'm only playing on a single monitor.

Well then a 4770k for 240 I'd go get right now lol. The 780 I say to get because its future proofing. Otherwise save for like Crysis 3 and the like you won't need its power.

Definitely, I just don't have the cash to drop 500 on a gpu. I seen a lot of the 770 go on sale for 300 or a little cheaper so I was gonna go for that one since I don't do a lot of hard core gaming. I just want something future proof and will handle my games at high or ultra settings playing on one 1080p monitor.

Then by all means the 770 is your best bet.

Watchdogs is a game I've been looking at, I'm going to grab the 770 deal that comes with a copy of it. Thanks for the help guys.
