What do I need to share business class internet via a wireless point to multipoint system in a rural neighborhood. Lots of trees and houses. None of the ISP's in my area offer broad band to the houses on my hill. not a large area but I think they don't want to upgrade the lines as they are underground. I would think 4 to 5 hundred yards to the farthest house and it would only be 3 to 4 houses.

The systems that work the best are designed for WISP providers. Motorola canopy tends to be one of the more popular. Even though these systems use the same frequencies as normal WiFi they centrally control the radios so that they can only transmit when allowed...similar to how cell phone broadband works.
You can get normal WiFi outdoor equipment from companies like ubiquiti but it does not do a real good job of sharing the radio bandwidth when you have some users who are hogs.

In either case you want a high central point to main AP on and then direction radio units at each customer location. You really do need line of site but most times this can be accomplished by mounting on poles on the roof.
