What does "By-Pass Model", "Doesn't have AD Board" mean in reference to a monitor?

Solution
Links? Doesn't have AD board likely means it cannot process a VGA signal as that is analog and the monitor will need to convert it to digital generally through an ADC.
Upon further research it seems that the By-pass model and no AD board means that it won't have the on screen display that will let you adjust settings which will restrict you to what your GPU can do, and it is very limited as far as adjusting brightness and contrast of the monitor without additional issues so you either get a monitor at full brightness or non-idealities in the image.
