guys which motherboard is the best and why, i personally like the evga z87 ftw because of its design connector positioning and sound...but its new and asus is known for its motherboards....which is better

Best board I've ever built with.

ASUS quality and customer service is the BEST.


ASUS has the best Haswell boards.

EVGA and Asus both make excellent boards (I've owned both brands) Out of those three the hero and and FTW are the best. The Hero is a very feature packed board where the EVGA is a no frills quad SLI and OCing board. So it depends on what features you want which board you go for. Can't go wrong either way.

EVGA has had some BIOS issues apparently, I have only worked with one and it had nothing of the sort, but I will admit they are pretty new on the motherboard scene. Asus has some great boards. As for the Sabertooth, it is a high performance board but it is more focused on longevity and robustness. If your gaming look into the Asus ROG series motherboards as they give the best performance and have amazing on board sound options.
