No you'll need to use the connectors on the top card only, though compared to the HD 7xxx series, you can actually use something like x2 DVI + HDMI to leave Displayport out of your Eyefinity build.

well I have, dvi ,hdmi ,d-sub and display port on each of my gpu but most monitors don't have each of those , is there a specific splitter for this ? the monitor I was thinking of is ASUS VS Series VS238H-P Black 23" 2ms HDMI LED Backlight Widescreen LCD Monitor all because I have3 just enough for 3 of them lol and all the multi display stands I seen good to hold just hold up to 24" boooo

The R9 290 Tri-X has x2 DVI-D (double link), HDMI & Displayport. This would work easily, the ASUS VS Series VS238H-P haves a DVI & HDMI port so connect two monitors to DVI & one to HDMI! :)

Well heres a picture of the card so i can explain :)

The two similar ports which are stacked on each other are DVI-D, the middle port is the HDMI and the furthest to the left is the Displayport. This card doesn't come with any VGA outputs.

on the monitor you where looking at, I saw in the specs that it had DVI and HDMI, so two DVI and one HDMI cable should do it.
