That power supply will EASILY handle a 760 , it's made by the BEST = SEASONIC.

The 550 has more than enough power , 650 would be a ton of extra power.

But it is a 500 minimum card? wouldn't you want the extra power? And do the PSU's have a 6 pin PCI-E and a 8 pin PCI-E for the GPU?

And would it fit in my computer case? (Dell XPS 8500)

A GeForce GTX 760 needs at least 30 amps on the 12v rail and a 500 watt power supply.

The 12v rail is the key.

Minimums are overstated both supplies have MORE than enough power to even run a 770 or 780.

The EVGA GTX 760 SC w/ ACX Cooler 2 GB [02G-P4-2765-KR] graphics card itself can draw up to 17 Amps when running FurMark Stability Testing.

For a reference system based on a PC configured with an Intel Core i7 3.2GHz 130 Watt TDP processor a minimum of a 500 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 32 Amps or greater and that has at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Seasonic G Series G-550 (SSR-550RM Active PFC F3)
• OEM: Seasonic
• maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 45 Amps <===== This is way more than enough
two (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors
• Semi-Modular Output Cables: Yes
• Official Intel Haswell Compliance: Yes
• 80 PLUS GOLD Efficiency Certification
• 5 Year Limited Warranty

Seasonic G Series G-650 (SSR-650RM Active PFC F3)
• OEM: Seasonic
• maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 54 Amps <===== This is way more than enough
four (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors
• Semi-Modular Output Cables: Yes
• Official Intel Haswell Compliance: Yes
• 80 PLUS GOLD Efficiency Certification
• 5 Year Limited Warranty

Both the graphics card and PSU will have no problem fitting into a Dell XPS 8500.
