Hello,

So I have these Turtle Beach headset and I live in Arizona.. the desert and dry. I noticed whenever I use my volume controller on it, it literally shocks me and then my computer freezes. Sometimes I make the smallest move, and my computer will just freeze and then I have to reboot it. I don't want to ruin any hardware, because it's expensive.

What should I do?

Thanks.

Don't play on a carpet.
Always wear an electrostatic wristband.

I know how it is in Az. Try not to play on carpet. I believe that the headset may be at fault, but just for touching a volume controller.

I have a huge mat that's for my rolling chair, so it's not directly on carpet. It's my bed sheets.. it's like that silky material or whatever that causes a lot of static electricity.

Ah, that stuff. Try to change your bed sheets. Static electricity is one of those things where we have to wait for science to save us from it.
