1080p monitor > 2GB 770
1440p monitor > 4GB 770

though i guess for the same price may as well get the 4GB. or hit middle ground & get a 3GB 280X if it's cheaper than what's offered to you for those 770's.

Considering the PNY isnt mentioned there, that is not helpful at all entomber.

For the cards:
The 4GB will only be needed at resolutions greater than 1080p or for SLI.
MSI is a much better brand than PNY(they arent bad, but MSI ASUS and EVGA are better)
I would get the MSI depending on resolution.

I recommend the MSI 2GB GTX 770 due to the fact of their innovative next-generation cooling solution. You could easily overclock the MSI one without the graphics card's temperature going up. The MSI will perform better even though it has two less gigabytes of RAM. The MSI will be more reliable and you can improve on its pre-existing specs by easily overclocking with a click of a mouse.

PNY really went all out to make a top of the line GTX 770 and backs it up with a lifetime warranty, which can't be beat by MSI. Hardware Canucks did a nice review.
http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-r...

"The heatsink is a multi-stage affair that utilizes five large heatpipes and a low-slung fin array that makes use of every millimeter of available vertical space. It really is a feat of engineering which takes the best features of competing designs and melds them into a cohesive cooler."

"PNY has also used a completely custom PCB for this card which contains an all-digital 6+3 phase PWM design that can provide up to 300W of power. Its layout is unlike any we have seen with the core components pushed off to one side, making place for a vastly expanded VRM layout. Truth be told, it looks like PNY is using the PCB from an NVIDIA Quadro rather than a mass market GeForce design."

"From a performance standpoint, the OC2 4GB is one of the fastest GTX 770s we’ve tested to date."

"At this point in time PNY is very much a dark horse among GeForce board partners but that hasn’t stopped them from creating a highly appealing product. The OC2 is everything we could possibly want in a sub-$450 graphics card; it is silent, provides surprisingly high framerates and has the benefit of additional memory. Meanwhile, the lifetime warranty is simply the icing on the cake and allows this card to handily nose ahead of the competition in our books."

At least my professional reviewer knows what he's talking about.

Even though that was probably sarcasm on your part, thank you. I reviewed the graphics card truly as it is, well built and well engineered.
