I have a nice new acer laptop with an i7 and all that fanciness, but its 500GB hard drive came pre-formatted in 2 partitions. There is a partition for drive D that has ~450GB on it but the C drive, which Windows 7 is installed on, is only 17.4GB.
After a few months, WIndows is now taking up basically 100% of this space. The system keeps telling me it is running low on disk space and it even gets to the point where there is 0 space available when I am doing anything that creates temporary files and it won't even run programs.
Why the hell someone would format a hard drive this way is beyond me. Does anyone know what I can do about this?
