Which would be the good choice? VS550 or CX500(80+ certified)?

I'd suggest an Antec VP550 over either of those.

Corsair cheaped out on the caps with their low-end ones.

I heard that these all PSU got other type of three pin plug that doesn't go with Indian circuit design...can you post a photo of a power cord? Tried to google that,couldn't find.

Basically all PSUs come with an IEC C13/C14 then ship with a cable with a local plug on the end, with a different plug depending on where you buy it.
