Hi, earlier today I moved my PC and hooked it up to my tv to watch a movie, I wasnt getting any picture to come up so I moved my pc back into my room hooked it back up to my monitor and same thing no picture. I swapped HDMI cables to one that works for sure and no picture so I go into control panel>Hardware and sound>Nvidia control panel and it says An Nvidia graphics card was not detected in your system. I dont understand what is going on prior to moving my PC everything was great no issues, Hell I just built my pc approx 3months ago nothing should be wrong and I shouldnt be having issues so soon but anyway ive done all I know to do...I have reseated the graphics card, unplugged the power cables to it, replugged them back in, and various other things. Also the fans on the card are all working fine, If you can help me out it would be greatly appreciated!

I'm confused. If you still had no "picture" with your monitor how did you go into the control panel and check settings?

The pcie slot or the video card could have gotten damaged. First I would test the video card in a different machine to narrow down the possibilities.

Yes I will be doing this tomorrow at my brothers to see if any things broke. It just doesn't make sense , I literally moved it 15 feet :/

Let us know how it turns out. I have seen a lot of very strange stuff in my time fixing computers.

Well that got put off to another time. since last night I have tried different power cables to the video card and uninstalling drivers. Also when I unplug the power cables to the video card and boot up the fans still work, so does that mean the slot is good? im so confused

The fans could run if the slot is malfunctioning. I think there is very little chance that it is the slot. But you have to eliminate every possibility when dealing with a crazy problem like this. Try to figure out how to test every individual part in the realm of possibilities. Testing the video card in a different computer will tell you a lot here. Really cant speculate beyond that.
