Installed a new power supply

I installed a corsair HX1000 Watt Power supply and my pc wouldnt turn on then i tried my old "Logisys" 480 and it still wont power up ive checked everything 100 times and I cant find the issue.
SPECS:
480 Watt/1000 Watt Power supplies
Sapphire 640 Graphics card
3.8 Processor
1 stick 8 GB ram
No clue on motherboard was custom built had no label.

If you don't know where they go you need to get someone who does to help you. A knowledgeable friend or a professional Tech.

Read through the manuals you've got. Especially the motherboard manual.

Have you got household power?
Have you tried a different power lead - from power supply to wall?
Is the motherboard fully connected - the 24 pin and EPS connectors?
Are all the connecting cables plugged into the power supply (its modular isn't it?)?

Was your pc working before with the old 480?

Have you only changed the power supply?

Is the motherboard fully connected - the 24 pin and EPS connectors? Yes just checked twice
Are all the connecting cables plugged into the power supply (its modular isn't it?)? Yes they are for sure

Was your pc working before with the old 480?: Yep for 3 months

Have you only changed the power supply? Yes

I tried turning it on now and it made a little squek sound

Or was it a beep - a POST beep - to say it's Posting OK?

OK - next:

post your build - every component and OS - make and model.

Did you connect the power supply to your OS hard drive/ssd? And the sata cable?

Did you put the power connector back onto the video card?

Is there anything that is still not completely and properly plugged in?

i found a few cords but idk what they go to they look like the little needles on the motherboard go to em turns out one of which leads to the motherboard think i can send pictures and you tell me where they go?
