This is because I'm using my parents money. I'm definitely grateful and I really don't deserve it, but they're letting me get one anyway.

I know that the absolute best way is to build my own PC. I told them everything I could, but I can't convince them to let me do it. I told them that we would save a lot of money, and it would be better for me to know what's inside the computer in case there is a problem, and that it is really not all that difficult to do according to numerous sources in the internet. It's actually in their best interest to do it, but they still will not anyway. And they won't allow anything other than Best Buy...

Here is the list of computer that are in my budget:

This is the best computer I think I see are...

and

I managed to convince them to go a bit above the budget, but that's definitely all I can go over. Please help me. Are these the best computers I can go with? If so, which one is the better choice?

Thank you for any answers in advance! I'm really excited to get into PC gaming!

The asus one is better for gaming. You do realize that this doesnt include monitor and if you dont have one, you will have to buy one separately.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. Thanks for the reminder tho!

I guess I should definitely go with the ASUS then.

I wouldn't go with the Asus one. The ASUS PC has a OEM 760, you can tell by the 3gb of Vram. I don't know much about the OEM GTX 760 but it has less power draw so it seems less powerful, also I can't find benchmarks or comparisons of the two. Thats weird that they will only buy from Bestbuy because they have terrible deals. If I could recommend a sight to by a Prebuild from it would be Newegg or IBUYPOWER, they give great deals for prebuilds and have great customer services with warranty's.
