Hello there!

I have a serious problem with my PC.When trying to boot it up the CPU temps rise so high (about 60-62C-when at the desktop-idle) and i immediately get a warning that the CPU temps are about to go beyond 65C ( i have an FX-8320).After i boot the computer and log in i also get a text message stating:

Windows Script Host

Script:C:\Program Files\PCDApp\start.vbs
Line: 2
Char: 1
Error: The syystem cannot find the file specified
Code:80070002
Source: (null)

Please help.I dont know what the problem is.Thanks!

list your build - every component - make and model plus OS.

If its a cheap build then without looking into it, I start to suspect the power supply.

Have you made any changes to the pc at about the time this started happening?

Can you run it long enough to get some readings from HWInfo? I'd be especially interested in Vcore and the 12v, 5v and 3.3 voltages - min and max.

Can you turn down the voltage to your cpu? In Bios or elsewhere (eg via UEFI)?

Have you touched the cpu cooler? Does it's fan work? Can you run it at 100%?

Also have alook here - http://www.wiki-errors.com/wiki-errors.php?wiki=8007000...

and you can also try a System Restore and run a Virus Scan

Some paste can last 5-8 years some goes bad fast if you take off the heat sink and it looks kind of crusty you will know it's what it is.

The components are:
CPU: FX-8320 Vishera 3.8Ghz-4.0Ghz
GPU: I have 2 AMD Radeon R9 270X's running in CrossfireX( one is Gigabyte Windforce and the other is Asus)
MB: Asus
RAM:Kingston HyperX 8GB (2 dims) 1866Mhz
PSU:620W Thermal Take
Hard Drive: Western Digital green 700GB
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

I don't think this would be considered cheap.

No I haven't made any changes to the PC so far.

I guess i can.I'll try it and tell you what the results are.

How can i turn down the voltage for the CPU?Oh and when im in the bios the CPU stays at about 45C, so is that normal for AMD CPUs?

Thanks for the link i'll try it now( when i finish answering this)

OK I'll try it,but first i have to buy some thermal paste and that's gonna be hard considering that i live in a country where PC Technology is almost non-existing.

Download and tun HWInfo - Sensors and post the results. This will help tell us where the problem lies.
