Hi everyone I am just curious about the brightness setting you use for your LCD monitors, I am pretty new to LCD technology and I have currently bought an ASUS MX239h, my room is pitch black, really a cave, cause I like it this way, specailly when i want to play games etc and I have set my brightness to 35 also it seems the expert of overclockers.ru agrees with me on this one http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ru&u=htt... just take a look at this and tell me if I am wrong, because the page is translated via google translate tools my questions are
1: what are your brightness settings in use?
2: what do you think of brightness of 35 for a pitch black room?

It's all down to personal preference but a lower brightness is generally sufficient for a darker room so 35 should be fine.

My brightness is set to 43 which seems perfect for me.
