should i get the 4670k now? at broadwell's release? (hopefully it'll be cheaper) or just get the new broadwell? im thinking the 4670k will probably go for like 160- 180$ by then and ill be able to snag it if broadwell is sketchy or just plain ole expensive.

I don't think there'll be much of a performance increase - just better graphics. But maybe jump onto The Haswell refresh (Devil's Cayton) - due out very soon. But its only improved TIM and binning. So again - probably not much of a performance increase. If the current cpus do drop in price, that's what I'd be looking at. By then there should be benchmarking data and reviews to help you sort it out (or get more confused)
