They want too much for that card brand new in my opinion....where as you could find/get a radeon 7870 or r9 270/270x for about the same or a little more and they have far better performance.

I actually saw one for about $130 which is a pretty good price, if you have $170, get a r9 270, if you have $200 get the r9 270x.

Here is the one on sale I found:

Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card ($129.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $129.99

The 750 tis are good for the price if you can find them between 140-150 with a aftermarket fan, so the sale price is a pretty good deal.

Edit: here are the other cards:

Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 270 2GB Double Dissipation Video Card ($159.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $159.99

Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X 2GB WINDFORCE Video Card ($199.99 @ TigerDirect)
Total: $199.99

r9 270x>r9 270>gtx 750 ti

like for example try to find the Sapphire r9 270 for a good deal and have a power supply with some room to overclock it then its damn near as good as the 270x really only difference is the lower clock speeds on the 270 version but certain ones like the sapphire and gigabyte have higher clocks, the XFX and HiS have like the lowest clocks etc.

that's not too bad, the XFX version is made well and will last but it does have lower clocks so I don't know about trying to overclock it a lot if you wanted to you know unlike the sapphire that one you can OC the piss out of lol.

JR1988 has been banned due to profanity, insults, and bad advice in another thread. I'd suggest posting your specs here, and waiting for a second opinion.

Tom's Best GPU for the money article is probably worth reading.
