is this ram compatible with this mobo?

Hi everyone!

This ram: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A14ZTWE/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_5?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

With this mobo: http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?cat=Specifications&Model=H61M-VS

I ask because Amazon states that the ram is UDIMM whereas Asrock specifies that the mobo has 2 x DDR3 DIMM slots.

Check using PartPicker, the motherboard website (compatible/approved memory) or the ram website - compatible motherboards

I did it, but i'd like to know if UDIMM and DIMM are the same thing or if they are compatible with each other. That's why i clarified it.

Yes - the U stands for unbuffered which is standard for PC DRAM the buffered or Registered DIMMs are generally ECC DRAM used primarily for servers
