Hello!

I have an amd hd 4650 graphic card, i used it with the catalyst 13.12 till now but keep asked me to update it to an older one 13.9.
I installed the 13.9 64 bit legacy version, but while i was playing several games was getting black screen and driver crashed and recovered message.
I uninstalled the 13.9 also due this and installed back the 13.12 , but the amd engine vision control center not appearing properly. There are just 3 options: p inned, presets and power.
No menu to change my screen colour setting or videos setting.
OS on my system is win7 64
I did clean install at every reinstalls even deleted manually some obsolete files
What can be the issue?
I even did win clean install at end and its same.Help!
Thanks!

Hi...

Hi,

The AMD Radeon HD 4000 series GPUs are legacy products and are only given periodic support. Only the HD 5000 series GPUs and newer are supported with every new release. The latest driver package for legacy products is Catalyst 13.9 available here

http://support.amd.com/it-it/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy2&os=Windows+7+-+64

Installing a newer version of the driver suite that does not support the HD 4000 series GPUs may cause problems. I suggest that you completely remove all AMD software from your PC using the uninstall utility and then clean it using Display Driver Uninstaller. Once that is completed, reinstall the Catalyst 13.9 package that I linked to above.
