Hello!

I am planning to build a rig and I have a couple of questions.

The case I am going for is Corsair Carbide 300R. Which in total can have 7 fans. It already has 2 fans pre-installed. One 120MM and one 140MM. I believe I will at some point install as many as possible (+5).

I will most probably go for a i5 4670, a h87 motherboard, R9 280X Toxic with XFX 650W, 80+ bronze.

The motherboard will probably have 3 or 4 fan headers.

I've already picked out corsair air series fans both 120MM and 140MM in total 5 fans.

Now the question...

1. Is the mentioned power supply good enough to run 7 fans and the r9 280X toxic? In other words, full system?

2. If so, how many fans should I connect to 3-pin-to-4-pin to 4-pin molex connector when I buy additional fans? 2,3 or 4? Will it cause problems, damage, not work properly?

Are you running the exact same setup as the one I mentioned? How many fans do you have and how did you connect them? 2 and 2 or 3 and 3 on each molex adapter?
