I am considering buying a replacement card for my HD7850 video card. I have no preferences towards either nvidia or AMD.
My system are:
I5-3570
HD7850
2x4 GB ram
2 x 7200 HDD
1 x SSD
Corsair TX55 550w psu
My question are, can my psu handle a R9 280/290 and the gtx760 or 770? I know they recommend higher wattage, but isnt that due to people having noname psus?
And what card would be the best upgrade performance/price wise? I am using a 1680 and 1920 resolutions on two different monitors, and are not planning to buy higher resolutions screens anytime soon.
