"Long" loading before motherboard screen (startup)

Hey there.
I've upgraded my system to Windows 8.1 Pro + Samsung EVO SSD for around 6 months (I'm not 100% sure, but something like that) and since then a black screen with something on the bottom right corner (something like A2, B3; letter + number) appears just before the motherboard screen (MSI). This doesn't really bother that much, since it doesn't take more than 5-6 seconds but before installing Windows 8 and upgrading to an SSD this did not occur.

How can I fix this? Is that even a problem? I don't know why it appens but it didn't happen before, and I'd rather not have it.

Also, is there a way to actually disabling that motherboard screen? If so, will I still be able to access the BIOS? How?

Thank you

Maybe a card reader or some other device plugged in during boot. See this:
  2. May it be the fact that since I've installed windows 8, my external hard drive doesn't turn on when I start the computer?
