Exactly, so if there is a list of both the HDD and the SSD that I can manually pick anyway, why would I need to unplug the HDD to achieve the exact same outcome?
1. Even though one is listed as SSD and the other is HDD, mistakes do happen. I've seen threads about this in here. "Oops!!"
2. With 2 drives connected, Windows generally puts the System Reserved boot partition on the second drive. 6 months from now, when you want to use that drive elsewhere...no boot for you.
Just have the target drive as the only drive connected. It takes 5 seconds to reconnect it.
